I had Charleston Tree Service at my home. I needed a company with a boom truck that could extend at least 55 feet. I wanted the tops of redwoods trimmed so I could have light. I also wanted the trees to keep bushing out to form a wall from the road. I asked that the trees be topped at a specific level and the sides trimmed to match the contour of the road. The job was PERFECT. I met the owner and crew at my home and they were on time as promised. A bid was sent to me prior to approving the job and with the estimate, I received a copy of his license and insurance. AMAZING. I work in insurance so this impressed me. Charleston Tree Services is a family owned and run business, founded by Graham and Amber Charleston six years ago and serving all of Humboldt County. They do everything from emergency large tree removal to field mowing and planting and brush chipping. Graham and his crew of Jeff, Joe, and Wayne did a fantastic job on our property. We needed many redwoods and alders topped to clear our view and protect our hillsides from excessive weight. They were fast, efficient, cheerful and impressive to watch in action. My wife and I are very pleased with the results and highly recommend them.
